Our sole purpose here at WildernessTreatmentCenters.org is to share the gift that was shared with us: Sobriety and Healthy Functioning.

Like many of us, you or a loved one may not feel like they fit in.  They may begin to feel anxious and depressed, and possibly turn to drugs for a temporary release.  We blame others for not accepting us.

But really, we are too judgmental.  We are too pessimistic.  We haven’t tried to reach out and belong.  We fell into the clutches of substance abuse.  And it’s okay, there is help.

Wilderness therapy gives us a chance to start over with a clean slate in a great environment where those who were like us and understand us teach us the skills we need to function well in society and be happy individuals, living the life we desire and deserve.
